After purchasing a portable wooden shed to store your gardening equipment, add a floral design to the outside of it with exterior paint and stencils. Once finished, your shed will have a unique appearance that will enhance your property and complement the plants and flowers that are growing in your yard: Use The Following Items water hose lint-free cloth stencils two-sided tape paintbrushes acrylic exterior paint exterior clear glaze curtain panel curtain rod screws screwdriver drop cloth scissors Print Out Stencils And Rinse Off The Shed Many free templates are available online. Select templates of flowers and plants that you like. Print each one out on a piece of card stock. Cut out the stencils with scissors. Rinse the exterior of the shed with a water hose. Dry off the wood’s surface with a lint-free cloth. Place a piece of double-sided tape to the back of each stencil and attach all of them to the shed’s surface. Cover the entire shed or decorate the trim and door.  Fill In The Stencils Place a drop cloth in front of the shed. Take your time filling in each stencil. Complete the outlines with a thin paintbrush. Fill in the details, using different colors. The acrylic paint may take a couple hours to dry completely. After this occurs, add a second coat of paint if you would like to darken any parts of the design. Once the paint has dried, carefully peel off each stencil. Add a coat of exterior acrylic glaze over the surface of the shed. This product will add shine and it will prevent the design from fading or peeling off. Add A Curtain To The Shed If your shed has a small window on it, hang a curtain the complements that painted design. Hang a curtain panel on a curtain rod and attach the rod to the wood with screws. If your shed doesn’t have a window, you can still add a curtain on the front of the door, giving the illusion that there is a window present underneath the curtain. Keep your portable shed looking great by rinsing it off with a hose several times a year. If any staining appears on the wood surface,  use a natural bristle brush and small amount of mild detergent mixed with water to remove the dirty spots. Your portable shed will remain damage-free and safely store all of the supplies that you need while working outside in your yard. Need more help?
